A 1964 Riblet Double Center Pole Chair from Stevens Passes' "Big Chief" chairlift. This is very cool! Riblet has been building chairlifts since 1939 and has finished approximately 500 chairlifts in North America and a number of lifts in both South America and Australia. The lift is being replaced at Stevens Pass, and this is your opportunity to have a piece of Stevens Pass history.
This is an amazing opportunity to ski anywhere is in the U.S.! The use of two "Gold Passes" from the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA). Each of these two medallions allows any user to obtain a one-day lift ticket at any ski area in the United States for four days! That is, each Pass is good for 4 days and can be used a one or more ski resorts. The "Gold Pass" program is used as a fundraiser for the United State Ski & Snowboard Association to raise funds for the U.S. Winter Olympic team. The 2 passes are fully interchangeable –anyone can use them (Mom, Dad, the kids, significant other, etc.) These passes can be used anytime in 2017-2018, except for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The passes will be delivered to you by NSAA a day or two before you intend to use them, and you will be obligated to return them to NSAA within a day or two after you use them. The reason for this is that the passes are in constant use around the country throughout the winter and must be passed on to other people. Offer expires June 30, 2019.
