2013 Workshop Season Complete

The David Pettigrew Memorial Foundation just completed its seventh year of sponsoring free mountain safety workshops at Stevens Pass, Alpental, and Mission Ridge ski areas in Washington. It was a great success again!

We offered a total of 24 workshops. The workshops were at four different levels of sophistication: mountain safety, avalanche awareness, companion rescue, and avalanche terrain observation. All of the workshops were well attended, except for one hindered by bad weather.

Fundraiser Success!

Our wine toss game at the fundraiser

Our annual fund raiser was held on August 25, 2012 at the Golf Club at Redmond Ridge.

It was a great success. We had over 130 golfers and approximately 200 for dinner. As usual, the raffle was the hit of the evening.

The wine toss and silent auction were also very successful. In fact, we generated more revenue and more profit than any previous year. Winners of the golf tournament were: Norbert Orth, Jason Runge, Shawn McArthur, and Kelly Everndan.
